Replanting of three Ficus trees on Ben Zvi Boulevard in Tel Aviv for Derech Ofer Ltd
The project's description:
In order to clear the route of the light rail, we were required to move 3 ancient Ficus trees from the center of Ben Zvi Boulevard in Tel Aviv to their new location by the side of the road.
In light of the need to remove ancient and huge Ficus trees from the center of Sderot Ben Zvi to clear the light rail path, we were required to lift two trees on our modular supports to move them to the third crane, which, while waiting for the first two trees to be transported, moved the third tree from its old location to the new one.
The exact engineering activities included the planning of the lifting, the transport and the sequence of operations, which, has not yet done much to shorten the blockage of the road and the disruption to traffic.
Securing the trees to the cranes and the lifting was carried out under the supervision of the city agronomist so that the trees would not be damaged.
