BOX lift (large concrete passages) for the light rail
The project's description:
Lifting of two 480 tons BOX units for the light rail crossing by a TEREX CC-2800 crawler crane.
The light rail route runs throughout Tel Aviv and crosses many roads. To create a leveled separation between the light rail traffic and the rest of the traffic, two concrete BOX units weighing 480 tons each were designed.
The elements were produced at the job site near the Rokach St.
The engineering projects division led the parts of the crane to the site and assembled it for the planned work with the help of the auxiliary crane for the SSL configuration.
The configuration included 240 tons of body weights and 300 tons of weights on the super lift.
in order to enable the lifting, a unique HOOK BLOCK was ordered from abroad that fits the defined lift weight.
The lifting work took two days - each day one structure was lifted into place. The work included lifting the building from the production site, driving the crawler crane to the intended location of the building and placing it in its intended location.
